1. About Boaventura Tour<\/h2>

Boaventura Tour organises excursions, airport transfers and tailor-made activities on the island of Sal, Cape Verde.<\/p>

2. Bookings<\/h2>

Bookings can be made via the booking form on this website, by email, telephone or WhatsApp.<\/p>

A booking request becomes final only after it has been confirmed by Boaventura Tour.<\/p>

We aim to respond to your request within 24 hours.<\/p>

3. Prices and Payment<\/h2>

All prices displayed are subject to change.<\/p>

All prices are subject to change and no rights can be derived from the prices stated.<\/p>

Unless otherwise stated, meals, drinks, personal expenses, entrance fees, equipment rental and any other costs not specifically mentioned are not included.<\/p>

For some tours, additional fees apply and must be paid on site. At the time of publication, the following rates apply, among others:<\/p>

\u2022 Entrance fee to Pedra de Lume (Salt Flats): \u20ac6 per person
\u2022 Buracona (The Blue Eye) entrance fee: \u20ac5 per person
\u2022 Water shoes rental (optional): \u20ac3 per person<\/p>

These fees are determined by third parties and may be subject to change. No rights can be derived from the stated amounts.<\/p>

Payment is made directly to the guide on the day of the tour.<\/p>

Payment can be made in:<\/p>

In cash in euros (\u20ac)
In cash in Cape Verdean escudos (CVE)<\/p>

4. Tour availability<\/h2>

Some tours have a minimum and maximum number of participants. The required minimum and maximum are specified on the relevant tour page.<\/p>

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Boaventura Tour reserves the right to offer an alternative date.<\/p>

If the maximum number of participants has been reached, new bookings will be offered an alternative available date.<\/p>

5. Cancellation and No-Show<\/h2>

If you are unable to attend, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible.<\/p>

Cancellations may be communicated by telephone, email or WhatsApp.<\/p>

In the event of a no-show (failure to appear at the agreed meeting location without prior notice), Boaventura Tour reserves the right to refuse future bookings.<\/p>

Boaventura Tour also reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if a participant has previously behaved in an aggressive, threatening or disrespectful manner towards the guide, staff members or other participants.<\/p>

6. Changes and Force Majeure<\/h2>

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to change tours, routes, schedules, vehicles or programmes where circumstances make this necessary.<\/p>

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>

Adverse weather conditions;
Traffic conditions;
Natural circumstances;
Government measures;
Technical failures;
Safety considerations;
Other unforeseen circumstances.<\/p>

In such cases, an tour may be modified, postponed or cancelled.<\/p>

No rights or compensation may be claimed as a result of such changes.<\/p>

7. Minors<\/h2>

Persons under the age of 18 must have a booking made by a parent, guardian or legal representative.<\/p>

Children under the age of 18 may only participate when accompanied by a parent, guardian or another responsible adult.<\/p>

The accompanying adult remains responsible for the safety, welfare and behaviour of the minor throughout the tour.<\/p>

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to refuse participation if these conditions are not met.<\/p>

8. Safety and Personal Responsibility<\/h2>

Participation in tours is entirely at your own risk.<\/p>

Stay close to the guide at all times during the tour and carefully follow their instructions. This helps ensure a safe tour and allows everyone to fully enjoy the experience.<\/p>

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to exclude participants from an excursion if their behaviour endangers the safety of themselves, other participants, staff members or third parties.<\/p>

Participants are responsible for:<\/p>

Their own health and physical condition;
Appropriate clothing and footwear;
Personal belongings;
Travel documents;
Medication and personal necessities;
Obtaining their own travel and cancellation insurance.<\/p>

Conduct During Tour<\/h3>

All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, staff members, other participants, local residents and third parties.<\/p>

Verbal aggression, threats, intimidation, discrimination, inappropriate behaviour, insults, violence or any other form of abusive conduct will not be tolerated.<\/p>

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to immediately exclude participants who behave inappropriately from further participation without any entitlement to a refund.<\/p>

If the safety of guides, staff members, participants or third parties is endangered, the appropriate authorities may be contacted.<\/p>

9. Pick-Up and Departure Times<\/h2>

Where accommodation pick-up is included as part of the tour, participants must be present at the agreed location on time.<\/p>

Published departure times are indicative only. Delays due to traffic, weather conditions or operational circumstances may occur.<\/p>

10. Nature, Wildlife and Environment<\/h2>

Participants must treat nature, wildlife and the environment with respect during all tours.<\/p>

Additional rules apply when observing sea turtles:<\/p>

Wear dark-coloured clothing;
Do not wear white or brightly coloured clothing;
Do not use torches, flashlights or camera flashes;
Do not make loud noises;
Keep a safe distance;
Do not touch turtles, eggs or nests;
Follow the guide\u2019s instructions at all times.<\/p>

Sea turtles are wild animals. Boaventura Tour cannot guarantee that turtles will be visible during an tour.<\/p>

11. Photography and Media<\/h2>

Photographs and videos may be taken during tours.<\/p>

Images or footage in which individuals are clearly identifiable will only be used with the person's permission.<\/p>

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the guide in advance.<\/p>

12. Liability<\/h2>

Boaventura Tour shall not be liable for:<\/p>

Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings;
Injury resulting from failure to follow instructions;
Damage caused by third parties;
Delays caused by weather conditions, traffic or force majeure;
Changes to routes or programmes required for safety or operational reasons;
The absence of wildlife sightings during tour.<\/p>

To the extent permitted by law, all liability is limited.<\/p>

13. Complaints<\/h2>

Boaventura Tour strives to provide high-quality service. If you have a complaint regarding an tour, transfer, or our services, we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible.<\/p>
