2. Bookings

Bookings can be made via the booking form on this website, by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

A booking request becomes final only after it has been confirmed by Boaventura Tour.

We aim to respond to your request within 24 hours.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed are subject to change.

All prices are subject to change and no rights can be derived from the prices stated.

Unless otherwise stated, meals, drinks, personal expenses, entrance fees, equipment rental and any other costs not specifically mentioned are not included.

For some tours, additional fees apply and must be paid on site. At the time of publication, the following rates apply, among others:

• Entrance fee to Pedra de Lume (Salt Flats): €6 per person
• Buracona (The Blue Eye) entrance fee: €5 per person
• Water shoes rental (optional): €3 per person

These fees are determined by third parties and may be subject to change. No rights can be derived from the stated amounts.

Payment is made directly to the guide on the day of the tour.

Payment can be made in:

4. Tour availability

Some tours have a minimum and maximum number of participants. The required minimum and maximum are specified on the relevant tour page.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Boaventura Tour reserves the right to offer an alternative date.

If the maximum number of participants has been reached, new bookings will be offered an alternative available date.

5. Cancellation and No-Show

If you are unable to attend, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible.

Cancellations may be communicated by telephone, email or WhatsApp.

In the event of a no-show (failure to appear at the agreed meeting location without prior notice), Boaventura Tour reserves the right to refuse future bookings.

Boaventura Tour also reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if a participant has previously behaved in an aggressive, threatening or disrespectful manner towards the guide, staff members or other participants.

6. Changes and Force Majeure

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to change tours, routes, schedules, vehicles or programmes where circumstances make this necessary.

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:

Adverse weather conditions;
Traffic conditions;
Natural circumstances;
Government measures;
Technical failures;
Safety considerations;
Other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, an tour may be modified, postponed or cancelled.

No rights or compensation may be claimed as a result of such changes.

7. Minors

Persons under the age of 18 must have a booking made by a parent, guardian or legal representative.

Children under the age of 18 may only participate when accompanied by a parent, guardian or another responsible adult.

The accompanying adult remains responsible for the safety, welfare and behaviour of the minor throughout the tour.

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to refuse participation if these conditions are not met.

8. Safety and Personal Responsibility

Participation in tours is entirely at your own risk.

Stay close to the guide at all times during the tour and carefully follow their instructions. This helps ensure a safe tour and allows everyone to fully enjoy the experience.

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to exclude participants from an excursion if their behaviour endangers the safety of themselves, other participants, staff members or third parties.

Participants are responsible for:

Their own health and physical condition;
Appropriate clothing and footwear;
Personal belongings;
Travel documents;
Medication and personal necessities;
Obtaining their own travel and cancellation insurance.

Conduct During Tour

All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, staff members, other participants, local residents and third parties.

Verbal aggression, threats, intimidation, discrimination, inappropriate behaviour, insults, violence or any other form of abusive conduct will not be tolerated.

Boaventura Tour reserves the right to immediately exclude participants who behave inappropriately from further participation without any entitlement to a refund.

If the safety of guides, staff members, participants or third parties is endangered, the appropriate authorities may be contacted.

9. Pick-Up and Departure Times

Where accommodation pick-up is included as part of the tour, participants must be present at the agreed location on time.

Published departure times are indicative only. Delays due to traffic, weather conditions or operational circumstances may occur.

10. Nature, Wildlife and Environment

Participants must treat nature, wildlife and the environment with respect during all tours.

Additional rules apply when observing sea turtles:

Wear dark-coloured clothing;
Do not wear white or brightly coloured clothing;
Do not use torches, flashlights or camera flashes;
Do not make loud noises;
Keep a safe distance;
Do not touch turtles, eggs or nests;
Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

Sea turtles are wild animals. Boaventura Tour cannot guarantee that turtles will be visible during an tour.

11. Photography and Media

Photographs and videos may be taken during tours.

Images or footage in which individuals are clearly identifiable will only be used with the person's permission.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the guide in advance.

12. Liability

Boaventura Tour shall not be liable for:

Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings;
Injury resulting from failure to follow instructions;
Damage caused by third parties;
Delays caused by weather conditions, traffic or force majeure;
Changes to routes or programmes required for safety or operational reasons;
The absence of wildlife sightings during tour.

To the extent permitted by law, all liability is limited.
